Yellowstone officially began production on season five in May, after a very successful run which included their highest episode rating to date – despite recent Emmy Awards snub.
The highly successful series – co-created by American screenwriter Taylor Sheridan – is the highest rated show in cable television and has defied the massive industry-wide declines in viewership over the past few years.
Meanwhile Ali’s eight-episode limited series – based on an adaptation of the bestselling novel of the same name by Jean Hanff Korelitz – is set to stream on Hulu, though the show’s release date is currently unknown.
The Plot centers on ‘struggling author Jake (Ali) who is primed to take advantage of any opportunity that might help revive his career. When a once in a lifetime opportunity presents itself, Jake commits an act of literary theft that changes his life irrevocably,’ according to Deadline.
Elizabeth Olsen was also one of the high earners, making $875,000 per episode of Love and Death, available to stream on HBO Max.
Earning $750,000 per episode was Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto, who starred as a married couple in Apple TV’s We Crashed, Seth Rogan and Rose Byrne from Platonic, as well as Brie Larson from Lessons in Chemistry, also on Apple TV+.
Those who came halfway to the million mark included Natasha Lyonne (Poker Face on Peacock), Elizabeth Moss (Shining Girls on Apple TV+), and Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend Pete Davidson (Bupkis on Peacock).
Meanwhile superstar Tom Cruise dominated the highest film salaries, earning an astonishing $100+ for Top Gun 2.
