Slim 400, Compton Rapper, Shot Dead at 33

Compton rapper Slim 400, an affiliate of YG, was shot dead in Inglewood, California on Wednesday night (December 8), TMZ, the Los Angeles Times, and NBC News report. He was 33 years old.

Slim 400, who was born Vincent Cohran, is best known for collaborations with YG like “Word Is Bond,” “Bruisin,” and “City Mad.” In 2019, shortly before he survived being shot multiple times, Slim 400 released High Off Treez, a project featuring Lil Yachty, Twista, and Bloody Jay, among others. The same year, he put out a collaborative record with Las Vegas rapper Yowda called State Line.

In 2020, Slim 400 released Shake Back, with guests including Sada Baby and Young Dolph, before dropping a pair of records this year: Bomptton and Ice Wata Army.
