The Bad Romance singer, 36, uploaded a two and a half minute clip onto her Instagram, apologizing to her fans, stating, ‘We really tried to finish the show tonight in Miami.’

However, the star wanted to prioritize the safety of the audience and the crew when lightning began to fiercely strike down near the Hard Rock Stadium.

The Hard Rock Stadium is home to American football team Miami Dolphins and was forced to pause the show while a storm passed overhead as the venue only has a partial roof.

In the emotional clip the singer uploaded to her devoted 53.2 million fans and followers, Lady Gaga began by thanking those who had come to the concert.

She expressed that ‘we really tried to finish the show tonight in Miami,’ but the feat proved to be impossible because, ‘there was lightning that was striking down to the ground so close to us.’

After a brief pause, the Grammy Award winner stated, ‘Look, I know that for a very long time, I’ve always wanted to be like that hardcore bad b***h.’

‘What I really want is to also be responsible and loving. I don’t know what I would do if anything happened to anyone in the audience, or to any member of my crew, my band, my dancers.’

‘So, I’m sorry that we didn’t get to do the epic performance of Rain On Me in the rain,’ she added with a touch of humor.

Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, then added, ‘What’s more worth it to me is life.’

The Star Is Born actress then picked up a small bouquet of red roses that a fan had tossed onto the stage and announced that she would, ‘cherish them forever.’

Still tearful, the performer expressed, ‘It took so much and my heart to get to a place to where I could perform and be healthy.’

‘And I hope you know, that part of why I decided not to finish the show was because I am healthy and it’s a healthy decision for all of you and myself as well.’

She then sent her love and safe wishes to the fans that came to her Chromatica Ball. ‘I’ll see you the next time I’m on the stage.’

Taking to Twitter, Hard Rock Stadium added: ‘Tonight’s Lady Gaga show couldn’t continue after a show pause at 10:50 pm in the interest of fan safety due to inclement weather that included lighting. Thank you for your understanding.’

It is currently unknown if fans will be reimbursed.
