There’s no denying that Billie Eilish is the ultimate Gen-Z superstar. But from ushering in the rise of logomania and effortlessly mixing streetwear with high-fashion, to exploring an ultra-feminine aesthetic in her own off-kilter way, Eilish has proven time and again that her cool personal style is just as noteworthy as her music.
Spotted at the LACMA exhibit celebrating Interscope Records’s 30th anniversary, the 20-year-old singer stood out in an oversized look that evoked ’90s hip hop à la Wu-Tang Clan, as well as Tony Hawk-era skater boys. The ensemble featured a padded denim gilet worn with a black long-sleeve top underneath and a matching baggy blue jeans, all by Très Rasché. The look was topped off with a bulky pair of Etnies skate shoes in powder blue, perfect for the vibe Eilish was going for.
