“So, hey guys, I was just watching Don’t Look Up,” TikTok user Ben Kohler said during the video.

“And at one hour, 28 minutes and 10 seconds, it looks like you can see the whole film crew standing here, for like three or four frames.”

In the clip, which Ben captioned with the word “oopsy,” he added, “They’re like, ‘Oh, they probably won’t notice that.’ Yup.”

TikTok fans were divided over whether the “blooper” was intentional, with some claiming it was an intentional decision.

“Um it’s a mockumentary. You’re supposed to see them,” one person wrote.

“Given the nature of the movie, it’s probably intentional,” another person said.

However director Adam McKay put the speculation to rest after addressing the editing slipup in message to fans on Twitter.

“Good eye! We left that blip of the crew in on purpose to commemorate the strange filming experience. #DontLookUp,” the director shared.

The film follows two astronomers from Michigan — played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence — as they inform the government about an impending comet which will destroy all human life.
