Often likened to one of the rarest colorways in Travis Scott’s F&F catalog, the Air Jordan 4 “Canyon Purple” is one of the few women’s exclusives of the year, joining the equally noteworthy “Blank Canvas” and “Shimmer.” And now, new, detailed images have surfaced just a couple months out from the shoe’s Fall release.
Next to La Flame’s own, the “Canyon Purple” exhibits quite a few differences. Most notably, the upper opts for a hairy suede instead of nubuck; and even besides its texture, the color itself, though heavily reminiscent, is used in a more expressive manner. For instance, the purple hue marks the adjacent netting, laces, and lining, too. Elsewhere, across both the support wings and midsole, pops of “Alligator” are paired with hits of black, while the Jumpman branding and the backside of the tongue further deviate with “Safety Orange.”
For a closer look at this much-anticipated Air Jordan 4, see the newly-surfaced imagery below. Currently, these are slated for an August 25th release, landing at both Nike SNKRS as well as select retailers.
