A big warm hug for all my lovely readers and a very happy
new year :)
I was thinking about what should be the first product to be
reviewed in the first month of the new year, then I thought what can be better
than my all time favorite product, which is also my skin's constant companion.
O yes, it is none other than "Cetaphil Cleanser". So, here I am with
the review of my darling cleanser. :)
What the brand says:
Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser provides effective cleansing
for combination, oily or blemished skin. It's gentle foaming action
removes oil, dirt, skin debris and makeup without leaving your skin dry and,
importantly, without the tightness that results from soap-based cleansers.
That’s because it is specially formulated to remove oil without affecting the
skin barrier. (Skin acts as a barrier, keeping moisture in so it is important
for a cleanser to work without compromising the skin barrier.) Cetaphil Oily
Skin Cleanser does not clog pores and can be used in conjunction with acne medication.
How it works:
It is Soap-free. This cleanser works to remove excess oil
without drying. Designed to remove surface oils, dirt, skin debris and
make-upwith a gentle foaming action, it is non-comedogenic so as not to clog
pores and cleanses without leaving the skin tight or dry.
Directions to use:
Take small amount of cleanser and massage a small
amount onto wet skin. Rinse with water.

Cetaphil cleanser comes in a white plastic bottle with a

My Views on Cetaphil - Cleanser For Oily Skin :
This is the best in the world for oily skin beauties. You
can't fail with this. It is my HG skin cleanser. I am repurchasing it since
last 3 years and it never runs out of stock from my shelf. I absolutely love
this Cetaphil cleanser.
I have tried and used many many face washes for my oily acne
prone skin, almost all drugstore brands which claim to be great for oily skin.
I quite like 2-3 of them. Yes, only 2-3 out of all that herd. All rest fail for
me. But I will not name them here, a separate post for that ;).
Now, coming to the praises and qualities of Cetaphil
cleanser for oily skin, it comes in a white opaque bottle with a flip open cap
and is perfectly travel friendly, no spills, no leakages.
The cleanser is transparent, a little quantity, a single drop
is required for whole face and hence, it lasts a good time. It removes all sort
of makeup easily. But you need an eye and lip makeup remover separately, if you
have those matt lip stains on lips and an intensive eye makeup on eyes. Else it
works perfectly on its own.
It lathers well and washes off completely easily, cleansing
the face and leaving the skin squeaky clean. The biggest pro is that it works
amazingly well for oily skin in all weathers, winters and summers and
especially those humid rainy days, all equally and perfectly. Again, one great
pro, not only it doesn't cause any breakout, but it further reduces the
No problem to sensitive noses, it is fragrance free. And it
is soap free too. A full thumbs up from me.
