Toni & Guy Frizz Smoothing Curl Conditioner Review

Hello Friends :)

Curls look beautiful, when well maintained and kept properly. Yeah...I know, they need lots of maintenance. My sister, Charu has very curly hair and I know that while they look beautiful, she always struggles with various products to keep them healthy and in good condition. She is always looking for some good well hydrating conditioner for her curly manes and then she got this Toni&Guy Frizz Smoothing Curl Conditioner one day. How she liked it? Read on....Read on....from herself :)

Toni & Guy Frizz Smoothing Curl Conditioner Review

What I feel for this conditioner –

Tony & Guy products are reputed for curly hair and hence, I definitely wanted to try the range. These are costly for sure but then, they provide a good quantity. This time, I went for conditioner only.

The conditioner comes in a bright pink bottle with a pump dispenser and a transparent lid that covers the pump. I like the bottle and its dispenser. Very little product comes out of dispenser that minimizes wastage of product. For sure, I can take as many pumps as I want. I normally take 5-6 presses of the pump at the least to get enough product for my hair..

Toni & Guy Frizz Smoothing Curl Conditioner Review

This conditioner has a very clean scent which is not at all overpowering. It leaves my hair smooth and well moisturized. Curls are more neat and tidy. I am finding it good for my curly manes. Seeing the cost, the product is ok. I am satisfied with this conditioner. The hair are not completely frizz free after using this conditioner but frizziness is reduced to some extent and that satisfies me as I haven’t found even one conditioner till date that eliminates frizz so why blame this one or any conditioner. Is there any product that eliminates frizz!! Overall, I find it good for my curls.

Pros –
  • Cute bright pink bottle.
  • Leaves curls neat and tidy and in shape.
  • Soft, shiny and smooth hair.
  • Makes hair more manageable
  • Reduces frizziness to some extent.
  • Does detangling if applied in right quantity.
  • Convenient pump type dispenser.
  • Travel friendly bottle.

Cons –
  • It’s expensive.
  • Bottle is somewhat slippery. You need to take its care while using or it goes to the floor!!

Overall Rating –

3.5/5

Overall, it is a good conditioner for curly hair. You can surely give it a try. I am using it happily but it is not my HG conditioner. I have seen better. I love my Matrix Biolage Conditioner for chemically treated hair and Matrix Deep Smoothing Conditioner more. And I have got some new amazing conditioner for my curly hair that I am currently loving and that has the qualities of becoming my HG :). Will review it soon for you!!

  10. A good conditioner is hard to find... we all have different needs for our hair... I have thick wavy hair that needs conditioner or it would be flying everywhere... Argon oil is the item that works for me... I find it can be slippery too but I need it to hydrate my hair... ♥

  29. OOOO ooo ooo I love everything Toni and Guy has to offer - adore the smell of their shampoo's and conditioners!! The range got discontinued where I live which broke my heart. This particular product sounds amazing too - I'll have to order a stack of their stuff to make up for the lack of it in my life of late!
